My Words Are Worth Waiting For

Today’s featured guest is Bevin Murphy. Bevin states, “I'm 23 years old and have had a stutter since I was five years old. I am a recent humanities graduate with a major in English, Media, and Culture. I am a new (and hopeful) voice in the stuttering community who wants to spread awareness about stuttering and learn more about myself along the way. My stutter has given me the gift of compassion and understanding for those who are struggling, and because of that I am a strong advocate for mental health awareness. I am a poet and I love to explore my inner thoughts through the art of creative writing”. I believe that there is healing in sharing, and I want to thank Bevin for sharing her story with me today.
