From memorable stuttering moments in high school, to flunking out of college due to depression and anxiety to being honored as a High School Teacher of the Year,\xa0Derek\xa0has experienced the highs and the lows of living life with a stutter. He uses his life experiences to show people that you are not defined by your situation, but rather how you respond to it.\xa0Derek\xa0encourages everyone to find a healthy outlet, as he uses health and fitness as a way to keep balance in his life.
