Despite her daughter\u2019s independence, she always knew where Sonya was.\n\nAs days turned into weeks, Sonya\u2019s friends held onto the hope that she was somewhere warm, chasing her dream of becoming a model. But deep down, they knew something was wrong. Sonya wouldn\u2019t just vanish without telling someone.\n\nThen, in the spring, a badly decomposed body was discovered in Stark Pond.
