\nLook! Up in the sky, it\u2019s a bird! It\u2019s a plane! It\u2019s Superman! For us \u201cbaby-boomers\u201d there is only one Superman. And that is as portrayed actor, George Reeves. Reeves version of the Man of Steel was beamed into our living rooms as The Adventures of Superman. The serial aired from 1952-1958, first in black white\nand then in color, during the birth of the Golden Age of Television. Mr. Reeves did not get rich from the show and sadly, arguably. due to typecasting, could never shake the role.

\nIn 1959, he was discovered in his bedroom, dead from what was deemed by authorities to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. But was it indeed suicide or something more sinister?
