On Saturday 22nd of June 1968, a petty thief tried to steal a small amount of cash from Taj Mahal at 21 Romilly Street in Soho. It wasn\\u2019t a daring heist, but a petulant act which would have resulted in a fine or a few weeks in prison. And yet, allegedly using \\u2018acceptable force\\u2019 to restrain him, three men would be charged with murder.
