Julia Roberts and Laura San Giacomo are friendship goals.\xa0 OK so they\u2019re both sex workers and Kit De Luca (San Giacomo) may or may not be a junkie with zero to no money management skills.\xa0 But they got each other.\xa0 And Vivian Ward (Roberts) is the original \u201chooker with a heart of gold.\u201d Richard Gere plays Edward Lewis a little tightly wound but hey it was the 90\u2019s and he had some sort of vague high pressure job.\xa0 It\u2019s still hard to believe that Disney had their fingerprints anywhere near this movie, but the script is charming and director Garry Marshall turned what could have been a dark cautionary tale into one of the most memorable rom-coms of the 90s.\xa0 \u201cWelcome to Hollywood.
