Hey everyone... Garfield returns to the big screen in a new animated adaptation! The Garfield Movie is the latest summer 2024 blockbuster but one of the first to be directly aimed at kids so it's going to be interesting to see how the box office shapes up for this film over the next couple of weeks. While I was pretty big on reading Garfield comics on newspapers when I was younger, I can't exactly say that this is one of the IPs from my childhood that I've been clamoring to get rebooted. So, does The Garfield Movie provide innocent family fun and feel true to the character... or is it a generic 'kids' film?
