Hello everybody, welcome to a (for those of you in the US, slightly early) review of the new Ryan Gosling & Emily Blunt film: The Fall Guy. This was easily one of my most anticipated films of the year; not because I watched the original 80s TV show but because I just loved the concept of creating a love letter to stuntmen, the unsung heroes of Hollywood, in an action comedy that's also being directed by a former stuntman. Plus, Ryan Gosling, maybe the most charismatic actor of this generation, was set to star! So... did The Fall Guy meet my lofty expectations or is this a bit of a generic action flick?
