Joker: Folie a Deux - MOVIE REVIEW

Well, here we.... go! Joker: Folie \xe0 Deux - the sequel to the polarizing but smash hit Joker - has now hit theaters. it's not secret at this point that Todd Phillips and his team had no intention of making a sequel to the first film but Academy Awards, including one for Joaquin Phoenix himself, and a billion-dollar box office run started to turn some heads over at Warner Bros. This is why I've always been very concerned about this sequel, despite still being a BIG fan of that first movie. The trailers certainly looked impressive but my concerns from a story perspective were not swayed. All that being said, the divisive reactions honestly had me so intrigued to go check this one out. I had the pleasure (I guess?) of seeing this one yesterday so let's discuss whether Joker: Folie \xe0 Deux is as good as the first film, in spoiler-free fashion!
