Hey everyone, Pixar's Inside Out 2 has only been out in theaters for about a week and a half and it's already the biggest box office film of 2024! After the summer started off with a few whimpers, critically and financially, it seems this summer (for the movies) has started to turn around for the better... at least in terms of box office. After weeks and weeks of discourse around whether we're nearing the end of moviegoing as we know it (come on guys, that's a little far), I want to give you guys 10 reasons why I think Inside Out 2 is performing so well at the box office (it had a record-breaking hold for its domestic second weekend total), and why it's succeeding compared to its summer movie counterparts.
