This week we continue on our trip to Chicago with our first ever roadtrip edition of The Caffeinated Movie Geek, as we visit "Bleeding Heart Bakery". Home of punk rock pastries and co-owner Vinny, who joins us for this week's Sofa Theater feature: Stake Land. And along the way we meet Peter Ostrum (Charlie Bucket), Paris Themmen (Mike TeeVee) and Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt) from the classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory! Plus cakeballs!!

And while we avoid the dead hooker under the bed in our hotel room, we mention…censoring music, Black and Tan Coffee, H.P. Lovecraft, Zombieland, the novelty of being in a film wore off, taking it to the next level, how do you make…a dragon?, killing an infant, Godzilla, Lady Gaga and Judas Priest, donating more money then you make, the arm of Disney, seeing the zipper in the rubber suit, crossing your H, what the hell is a macchiato??, Texas being it’s own country, punk rock, an innocent romp, what a bunch of assholes!, John Carpenter’s The Thing, being in Munich, Germany in 1970, not hitting specific formula chords, the death of Norman Reedus, I love it when I’m disturbed., using your pockets for the first time, stabbing someone with a linoleum knife, until finally Fangoria called, painting Ralph Partelow miniatures for Dungeons and Dragons, Justin Bieber hairdoo, vamp bombs, Finding Nemo, Torchwood, the missing Saturday mornings, there’s so many layers of problems, you can’t have happiness, The Road, Specterman, layers of nerdom, wow that was really dark, the guy in the suit and in the last few years - we’ve really exploited my layers of nerdom.
