Faith

Faith is the element, the \u201cchemical\u201d which, when mixed with prayer, gives one direct communication with Infinite Intelligence.

My experience is this:

I have faith in something greater than myself, whom I call God, and that faith is based on Christian principles which provide the framework to begin my relationship with that greater power. That relationship is nurtured through prayer.

I view prayer as the question I am seeking an answer to; it's when I'm talking. I view meditation as the time to receive those answers; it's when I'm listening.

Because I am combining that faith with prayer and meditation, I often receive answers and guidance. And, I feel confident they are the right answers. When I look back on my life and my business, it is when I followed that guidance that I was most successful and pleased with the results.

I can tap into that relationship at any time of the day or night. I can ask for guidance, listen for the answer, and 'know' what I am to do next.

The struggle comes when I disagree with the guidance/answer I received. Which, of course, is fear. Now it's up to me to recognize the fear, make the decision to respond to it, and move on - sometimes I move forward, sometimes I move backward. All the time I am reminded by my friends that I am human, and that this struggle is simply a part of being human. It's my job to grow through the struggle.
