On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are singing our damn hearts out to the ones we love the most. We watched the 1998 film from Frank Coraci, The Wedding Singer.
The next time I\u2019m at a wedding, I\u2019m going to remember this film and befriend the event\u2019s wedding singer. Heck, even the DJ if there\u2019s one of those instead. You never know when they could be going through the roughest time of their life.
Like Robbie Hart, they could have just gotten their whole world torn apart. They could be wallowing in misery. They could be engaging in some pretty self-destructive behavior, like ruining some poor kid\u2019s bar mitzvah.
We should all think of the wedding singers in our lives. Maybe they wanted to be impressive rock gods, but instead have to spend every weekend belting out the same old nonsense.
To all the Robbie Harts out there, we see you. We see you.
