On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are doing our best to believe in Santa because we don\u2019t want to be eaten by any weird Krampus monsters. We watched the 2015 film from Michael Dougherty, Krampus.

But if you or your children need more motivation to be good people throughout the year, then there\u2019s no terrifying horned creature better than this fright. One look at its gaping maw and you\u2019ll volunteer at a soup kitchen on Christmas Eve in no time!
That appears to be the real purpose of Krampus. Our friendly Saint Nick is here to give all the good people the gifts of their dreams. His devilish assistant is here to give all the bad people, um\u2026 [checks notes] birch rods? Yes, Krampus gives people birch rod punishments.
Things sure were different back when Krampus became a thing. On the other hand, I\u2019d much rather take a birch rod than be terrorized by this movie\u2019s monster. Anyway, happy holidays!
