In our continuing month of \u201cfilms that broke us,\u201d we\u2019re delving into one of the tentpole features of \u201870s indie filmmaking. One of the greats, John Cassavetes, directs Gena Rowlands and Peter Falk into some of the greatest performances of their respective careers.
This is a demanding film, both of your time and of your heart. Like all films of that quality, it\u2019ll also reward the time and effort you put into it. Good luck putting yourself back together again!
