Japanese robots... with human-like skin?

There\u2019s no denying that automation is becoming part of our everyday lives, but do we want robots to be indistinguishable from humans?  

Engineers in Tokyo have for the first time manufactured skin from human cells, and attached it to a robot\u2019s face. It\u2019s a long way from being convincing, but it\u2019s a big step in robotics.
