French priests to have a scannable card
The Catholic Church has been rocked by many scandals, not just in Ireland but all over the world. However the French Bishops Conference has taken a more direct approach so that parishioners can verify the status \u2013 and history \u2013 of any priest. \n\nEach clergyman at any level within the church will be required to carry a card that will give either a green, orange or red notification. \n\nTo explain more Sean was joined by John Lichfield, veteran French correspondent.
