MMM 30: Newborns with Jaundice

Jaundice occurs quite frequently after birth, however a diagnosis of jaundice and any interventions involved in the treatment of jaundice may throw a breastfeeding mom into a tailspin. Today we're speaking with, Dr. Turner, a pediatrician from Kaiser Permanente, and his wife, Marilyn Turner, a pediatric nurse, lactation educator, and lactation consultant student, to help us understand what a diagnosis of jaundice means for you and your baby and how to continue to breastfeed through it.
