She has written three books about sustainable and regenerative meat generation, including her latest \u201c Defending Beef: The Ecological and Nutritional Case for Meat,\u201d and has been a contributor to The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles times, and The Atlantic. She lives in Northern California with her two sons and her husband, Bill Niman, the founder of meat companies Niman Ranch and BN Ranch.
