When a business owner starts out, it\u2019s almost in a sales mode initially. You\u2019re spending time outside the office and connecting with people, and there will come a time where there it\u2019s a balancing act to balance selling your business to obtain new clients and completing the work you have, and this can be stressful. Remember, you\u2019re in the business of making your clients happy. Also, it\u2019s easier to keep the clients you have, and get more work or referrals than it is to find new work. You\u2019re not in business to collect clients like Pok\xe9mon. \n\nBeing mindful is knowing there comes a time when we have to pause and say, \u201cThis is what I need to focus on.\u201d Pay more attention to the creative ways to get your clients what they need.
