We're chatting about the emotional toll PCOS has on us. BUT, if you don’t have PCOS this is still beneficial for you because it’s really talking about when we’re dealing with symptoms that are uncomfortable and make us self-conscious, the emotional effect of it and how we can deal with it.
Interested in the 12 week group coaching program MIND Your Hormones 101 starting the beginning of July?!
We're talking about my struggles with facial hair growth, bloating, rashes/acne.
All of the nutritional, lifestyle & supplemental changes I've made addressed the root cause which then got rid of the symptoms.
This is why I’m so passionate about teaching women how to naturally manage their PCOS and any hormonal symptoms they are experiencing because it does take such a mental toll. Many times to the point we can’t fully enjoy our life when we are self-conscious and anxious about whatever is going on with us.
There is also a link between anxiety, depression and PCOS. There needs to be a lot more research done on PCOS but we know that there is a correlation.
TIPS
Whenever you go to criticize a part of your body, whether that's facial hair, acne, weight, bloating etc, in that moment immediately notice it, forgive yourself for speaking negatively to yourself and then immediately focus on something you love about yourself.
Whether that’s your hair, your eyelashes, your butt, your nails, literally anything. Also personality wise, think about things that you love about yourself so that could start outweighing the things that you are self-conscious about.
