54. What TRULY keeps you CONSISTENT! (It's NOT motivation!)

I can\u2019t wait for you to hear this episode because it is GAME CHANGING.

Motivation isn\u2019t what\u2019s going to get you your results because that comes and goes. If you\u2019re in a bad mood, didn\u2019t get a good amount of sleep your motivation is in the tank.

Creating habits that you\u2019re consistent with is what leads you to your results. But in order to stay consistent with those habits you need to adopt the identity of the person you want to become.

So if something you struggle with is getting in movement. Instead of waking up and being like eh I just don\u2019t feel like doing it (there\u2019s a diff between listening to your body & not having motivation to do it), if you adopt the identity of a person who moves their body daily in some way, you wouldn\u2019t have that conversation in your head. You would say \u201c I\u2019m a person that moves my body daily because I want to feel energetic."?
