Power and Imagination

This week we completed the exploration of the fifth lesson (Power) in the series based on Charles Fillmore’s class titled “Releasing the Holy Spirit of God in Man.” There are two affirmations to use from this lesson: “The Holy Spirit is here. We are of one mind.” “All power is given unto me in mind and body.”   The sixth lesson focuses on the Power of Imagination as well as a very interesting discussion of the metaphysical interpretation of Genesis I. Charles states, “In the first chapter [of Genesis] he is the image and likeness of God. God identified, or God individualized; or, in other words, as God personalized—that is, of course, in the outer expression. But the Jehovah God is God individualized—that part of us that begins to say, ‘I AM. I AM THAT I AM.’” He also says, “How shall you increase your imagination? Power? You naturally think that that imagination power is from God. It comes from the one Mind." The affirmation recommended at the end of the talk is, “I in Thee and Thou in me, that we may be made perfect in one.”
