Power

This week we explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore entitled "Power," given on April 17, 1910. Fillmore emphasizes that we all are and have Power. Fillmore said, “If Jesus Christ taught and demonstrated the power, that there must be, somewhere in man, an undeveloped set of faculties.” Fillmore also shared about obedience. It is not like obedience to a person or authority. It is more like we get the results we want when we are obedient to the laws of electricity or gravity.   We also reviewed a Charles Fillmore talk given on April 2, 1931, entitled "Weakness Changed to Power." A key idea from this talk is, “Everything that we do, everything that we think, everything that we work, everything that we say, represents some idea in the One Mind, the Source of all ideas.”   No terms from The Revealing Word were reviewed this week.
