Before joining the US Army, Phil Sussman was a photojournalist\nwhere he spent time overseas, and shortly after an Army contractor. He joined the Army within the Armor Corps as a platoon leader, executive officer, and operations officer before attending special operations civil affairs selection and deploying multiple times as a Civil Affairs officer. Phil is currently going through the medical evaluation board.
