43 | From Double Lives to Government Clones

Published: Oct. 16, 2020, 2 p.m.

Meandering Episode 43 sees the return of.... no one.  Just us two this week. Morgan and Sacha play a little game.  Sacha plays the role of aspiring CIA agent who claims he has all the answers and Morgan plays dismissive director/manager of said agency. A far stretch.... we know. and thanks to this little role playing exercise we dig into the fabric of how workplaces function today (23:00). We also discuss the capitalistic business model of nearly all infrastructures in America today and how they're kinda all designed the same way and don't really get much done and we further discuss how Cancer research moving forward can force the issues to self correct (59:00). Hour two is in full Meandering mode and we introduce a new topic of discussion and argument. Animal cloning and how prevalent it is today; its effects, the laws surrounding it and more.  We stumble across the FDA's cloning admittances and detailed oversight language on their website (85:00). The second hour closes with an argument styles like the old chicken vs the egg talk and the guys argue whether or sleep came before hunger or vice versa? and black holes make their return to the discussion and the guys meander to a preview of next week's special episodes of Meandering that will cover Netflix's Social Dilemma documentary (110:00). We close the conversation this evening with a discussion about drive, invigoration, passion, emotion and whether or not these are characteristics of American people today and if they are what do they look like? We wrap it up with a talk about why we're doing what we're doing and what we don't do and why.  Sacha discusses his idea of his agenda or lacketherof and what he has always strives for in his creative projects (138:00)
