b'This week it’s Shoe Dog, the autobiography from Nike co-founder Phil Knight! This was one of Bill Gates’ favorite books of 2016 and spent over 14 weeks on the NYT non-fiction list in 2018! Apparently Netflix is adapting it… somehow? So it’s got to be amazing, right? Ehhh.

Mean Book Club is four ladies (UCB, BuzzFeed, College Humor, Impractical Jokers) who read, discuss and whine about NYT bestselling books that have questionable literary merit. It\'s fun. It\'s cathartic. It\'s perfect for your commute. New podcast (almost) every Tuesday!

Here’s the book list for Season 9:

- Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
- Rodham by Curtis Sittenfeld
- The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena
- Danielle Steel: Daddy’s Girls by Danielle Steel
- The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger
- Shoe Dog by Phil Knight
- All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood
- Life Code by Dr. Phil
