Mexico Missions Trip
In 2018 we sent a team of 13 youth and adults to Mexico where they had an incredible time serving the Mexican people of San Quintin. They built a house for a single mother and her 3 children, put on a soccer camp for the kids from the community, lead a VBS and spent time doing various outreaches in the area.
During the trip several people came to Christ as there Lord and Savior, the team was part of seeing people healed and the Holy Spirit moved in the lives of the team.
Mexico Missions is an opportunity to make a long term kingdom impact into the life of a local family, local community, and the local church. I hope and pray you will consider joining us on our adventure this year. If you are interested or have any extra questions please feel free to contact me at the church.
Next year we will be building another house for a family in need and will have several options for outreach to the community.
THE DETAILS

When: August 11-17 2019

Agency: We will be working with one of our Partner Ministries One Life One Chance Ministries. You can find out more about this ministry at onelifeonechance.ca.

Where: San Quintin, Baja California is the location of the base. The secure base is a beautiful oasis caller Los Olivos a 5 acre parcel of land owned by One Life One Chance Ministries. It has an indoor kitchen, green grass, hot showers, volleyball court, soccer field, playground and a pool. For lodging we will be staying in newly built dorms.
Travel: We fly from Bellingham Washington to San Diego and then we have a 6 hour drive by chartered coach bus to San Quintin Mexico. We may spend the day in San Diego for some recreation and overnight in a hotel and leave early the next morning.

Why: One Life is using the base in San Quintin to connect with indigenous ministries by being a neutral ministry site and using the property as a base camp for serving teams and the community. Providing shelter for the broken and needy, offsite outreach can be as large as a new home or a meal through community outreach. All of this is done through the local church.

Cost: $895 CAD \\u2013 includes accommodations, food, a coach bus from San Diego to San Quintin and back, transportation in San Quintin Admin fees and a T-Shirt. (Airfare, immunizations, group insurance, spending money, travel meals, hotel and excursions in San Diego are extra)

Fundraising: We will be putting together a few fundraisers but the bulk of the cost will be yours. Last year most members raised all their money through fundraising.
