During the 1920s, The Big Easy was home to some of the most notorious members of the New Orleans Underworld, including Silvestro \u201cSilver Dollar Sam\u201d Carollo. A mafioso whose life is shrouded in legend and mystery. As a member of Charles Matranga\u2019s Black Hand gang, Carollo was quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. Eventually surpassing Matranga as New Orleans \u201ctop dog.\u201d But Carollo\u2019s luck would soon run out.
