Peculiar People (CommUNITY Worship July 2018)
Exodus 19:1-6, 16-20 \nIt's that time again! Love Chapel Hill joins our greater community in joint worship. We welcome St. Joseph's CME and Life Church into our theatre as part of our tradition of racial reconciliation every 5th Sunday. We celebrate that we are a peculiar people. LCH definitely fits the traditional definition of "peculiar," but this actually goes deeper. "Peculiar" also means that which is unique to a specific person or category. It is a promise from God of God's faithfulness toward those who come to God. Moses ascends Sinai; God descends to meet him.
