Those that walk the highest path, have the furthest to fall. This is true of the XVIth Legion, whose fate was sealed on the day that Horus was named Warmaster. Though their reputation and combat record far exceeded any other Legion during the Great Crusade, it was their pride and hubris that made them perfect targets for the corruption of Chaos.
