We keep hearing the accusation. More needs to be done. There is unmet need. As if need itself was an evil that had to be eradicated at all costs. There is conflict between needs. I cannot give you more time without reducing the time I spend on myself. I cannot give more to charity without that money being taken from my children and wife. The accusation is a lie. There is not more we could do, there is only different. We could do things different. But, at what cost? It is not that we could do more, it is a question of if we are making the best use of what we have. And remember, if we must ask this question of ourselves, so ought others ask it.
