The US As The Land Of Hate
The epidemic of violence in the US is an epidemic of hate. All crime is a desperate attempt to combat fear. The more horrendous the crime the deeper the fear. Without faith in the future there is no future, there is only fear. The less faith in the future, the greater the fear of the future. At some point fear of the future turns to a hatred of the future. Hate begets violence against what caused the fear. Violence is directed against that which destroyed the persons faith in the future.
