The Pure Socialist Enterprise

Socialism has struggled to gain acceptance because it has been too lame for communist and too far left for libertarians. Yet, if looked at from a different angle it can be viewed as a prototype of a new organizational model. Conventional structures are all federal in their design, which means regardless of if they are on the right or the left, the trend is towards globalism and the centralization of power in fewer and fewer hands. This has proved frustrating for freedom loving persons because regardless of which way they turn, nothing seems to alter the trajectory in which we are headed. Socialism attempted to change this without success, because it was tied to the federalist system. In this essay we look at regionalism, which separates the ideas of socialism from the tools and structures of federalism, creating a whole new ball game and a whole new future for those who are willing to change direction.
