The Fetus As The Enemy
The abortion debate goes nowhere, because the debate does not consider what is lawful, or legally plausible. It is one thing to make abortion lawful, it is another to tie it to precedent or a legally defensible position. A draconian ruling can be implemented by a fascist regime willing to impose an opinion using totalitarian measures, but such measures only highlight the injustice of the law.
