Doubt seems a reasonable position to take, faced with the utter complexity of the universe. But is there any other endeavor we begin based on the assumption, not only that we will fail, but that to even think we can succeed is irrational? The institutionalization of doubt leaves us open to every and any possibility, including far left propositions such that children are sexual beings almost from birth, if not at birth. Being doubtful about somethings maybe good practice but when it comes to moral truths doubt makes us vulnerable to the most liberal of ideas and doctrines.
