Democracy is the best of all possible systems other than the one which is better than it. But rather than slinging insults and innuendo around lets first of all consider what evil is, because if democracy generates evil it cannot be good, and if there is a system that does not do this then democracy is not only evil but costly. Evil acts do create costs. How evil the act is depends on the intensity of the costs they create. To be good acts must cover their own costs. To understand this we need to understand what motivates our actions. We attempt to remedy scarcity. Democracy changes the incidence of scarcity by means of redistribution. Redistributing scarce resources does not reduce the absolute level of scarcity. Therefore democracy creates costs in the act of redistributing scarce resources without reducing the absolute level of scarcity. The use of democracy is not logical as it does not reduce scarcity nor do good by eliminating social costs. But there is a system that does reduce scarcity absolutely and does not externalize costs onto society and future generations. Proving, conclusively that the utilization of democracy is not logical.
