It would seem the day of the general strike is past. Unions are no longer the power brokers they were. Most are content to wrest small concessions the employer and look forward to retirement. A general strike occurs when several large unions orchestrate a full or complete shutdown of the economy. However, with the decline in union membership and their loss of power the likelihood of holding a General Strike or even getting the major unions involved is on the wane. But a Tactical General Strike is grassroots and tactical using a more targeted approach to fighting the evils of the lefts social justice agenda.
