Socialism is a pyramid scheme. The top of the pyramid may make considerable gains, but this income comes from the base. The more the top flourishes the more the bottom is impoverished, because governments do not create wealth, at best they redistribute it at worst they redistribute it but only into their own pockets. The community never wins in a zero-sum game. Democrats see the economy as a fixed amount of wealth that must be redistributed. In so doing they create division and conflict. The more Democrats take and redistribute the more people helped and the more people alienated. In the end Democrats sow the seeds of their defeat with any wins they make. The bigger the win, the greater the probability they will alienate the voter by the win.
