Church As The Engine Of Equitocracy

We can strive for equality or equity but not both. This world of the flesh desires equality because the flesh prefers standards that are visible. If we all have the same wealth or the same position or the same level of education, we can all think we are equal. But in fact this still does not mean we all have the same value. The church does not believe we are equal or can be equal. Even if in the church we are not above one another and we do not view the contributions of one of more value than the contributions of another, this position is predicated on all working together for the good of the church. The church is the equity the believer produces when we are all working to support one another in faith. The church is in this sense, an equitocracy. We are governed by the desire to be of value to one another, not the desire to be equal. There is a real difference, learn what it is.
