Leader of Wirral Council on New Ferry, Ryder Cup & investing in Wirral's waterfront

Wirral Council Leader Phil Davies has set out his vision of the future of the borough in an interview with Mick Coyle.

He\u2019s set out his long term goal of the Wirral hosting the Ryder Cup, fully utilising its Mersey waterfront, and securing billions in investment in infrastructure as part of a new Growth Company project.

\n\n\n

He also criticised the Conservative government\u2019s \u201cappalling response\u201d to the New Ferry disaster, and claims they have a \u201cmoral responsibility\u201d to help rebuild the town.

\n\n\n

And he gave details of a new attraction to arrive at Seacombe.
