The Santa Clause and The Santa Clauses (S1E1)

Published: Dec. 20, 2022, 4 p.m.

The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen is one of my all-time favorite Christmas movies and a must watch every year. I'm so glad it's available to watch on Disney+, even when you own the trilogy. My guest also decided to chat about the first episode of the new series, The Santa Clauses, which I still need to finish. The very first film was released in 1994 and is still enjoyable to watch alone or with your family or friends. You can also do the drinking game to make things more fun, or maybe cause a hangover the next morning.

If you are living under a rock and don't know about this film, here is the synopsis...Divorced dad Scott has custody of his son on Christmas Eve. After he accidentally kills a man in a Santa suit, they are magically transported to the North Pole, where an elf explains that Scott must take Santa's place before the next Christmas arrives. Scott thinks he's dreaming, but over the next several months he gains weight and grows an inexplicably white beard. Maybe that night at the North Pole wasn't a dream after all -- and maybe Scott has a lot of work to do.
