My friends and I discuss Richie Rich from 1994, starring Macaulay Culkin and Edward Hermann. Not the best rating on IMDb at 5/10, but still worth watching for those of us that grew up with it, or those with young kids or kids at heart.
\nNot surprisingly, at the time of filming, Macaulay Culkin was the richest kid in the world, although not sure he had a McDonald's in his house. This was filmed almost entirely at the Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC. This was also the last major film appearance for Mac for almost 10 years, ending that hiatus for the film Party Monster and Saved, both great films, with Party Monster being based on a true story (check out some true crime documentaries and podcasts as well as reading about the case before watching the film).
\nNo specific cocktail this week, but drink every time they make a money pun.
