PODCAST-This is a special LAB Podcast Episode to cover the every changing information reference the unorganized motorcycle guys (UMG\u2019s) attack on the driver of a SUV after he ran over one of the UMG\u2019s in New York City in late September 2013. We weigh in on this incident with our opinions and experience. We try to dig deep into the incident while looking at all sides. This was a large group of unorganized motorcycle guys (UMG\u2019s) and one of them pulled in front of the SUV and suddenly slowed. The SUV driver, who had his wife and child with him, then lightly struck the rear of the UMG that pulled in front of him. The whole freeway shut down and the massive group of UMG\u2019s stopped in front of the SUV driver and his family. Preliminary information shows that the SUV driver feared for his safety from the UMG\u2019s and had no escape route. The SUV driver sped forward, running over one of the UMG\u2019s, and continued away on the freeway. That UMG is now paralyzed.

The UMG\u2019s then chased down the SUV driver and his family, whom finally got caught up in traffic and had to stop. The UMG\u2019s then aggressively smashed out his window, pulled him out of the SUV, and beat him. Information is that an off duty under cover Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) was also involved in the incident.

The driver of the SUV has been criminally charged with nothing, but several of the UMG\u2019s have been criminally charged. The story is still unfolding and we here at LAB will continue to cover it.
