Published: July 26, 2019, 5 p.m.

Welcome to the place where I get to let my geek flag fly and talk about all things geek. Basically a fuzzy guide to life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. This is where I look into the world of geekdom and some geek news, comics, The Simpsons, Star Wars, and whatever randomness finds its way onto the recording. In this level of the podcast, Blue and I cover lots of the 2019 San Diego Comic Con news. This includes HBO (Westworld, His Dark Materials, Watchmen, and Game of Thrones), the IT Part 2 trailer, The Walking Dead, the Top Gun: Maverick trailer, The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Black Lightning, and Batwoman, the Harley Quinn animated trailer, Superman: Red Son & Hush animated movies, Star Trek (Picard, Discovery, Star Trek Lower Deck comedy), the Hasbro Fat Thor series, TBS’ Snowpiercer show, The Boys Season 2, the Steven Universe The Movie, Jonathan Hickman’s X-Men teams (plus other comic booky stuff), Terminator Dark Fate info, Titans & Doom Patrol gets second season, the Marvel Phase 4 slate announcement, and Agents of Shield ending with Season 7. But we weren’t done, there was even more news before SDCC and we do an ultimate edition of Firehose News to share it with you. This included Netflix working with Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer on a live action Sandman, Trailers (Jumanji The Next Level, The King’s Man, Mulan), Halle Bailey cast as The Little Mermaid, clarification on Daisy Ridleys Star Wars comments, Spiderman Director says he’d like Kraven the Hunter as the next villain, Selma Hayek and Millie Bobby Brown in The Eternals, Stranger Things D&D starter set and Season 3 non-spoiler review, Mortal Kombat remake is R rated with fatalities, Rise of the Resistance attraction premiere dates for Florida and Anaheim, Taika Waititi doing Thor 4 and Akira movie on hold, Spider writers discuss early draft with reveal of Mysterio as a Skrull, Rob Liefield Snakeyes comic, Ryan Hitch Batman miniseries, Episode IX reshoots lasting until September, Jon Favreau already writing the second season of The Mandalorian, Diego Luna not happy about the end of Rogue One, Daisy Ridley teasing “epic fights” in Episode IX, Star Wars land attendance issues, Marilyn Manson joins The Stand miniseries also covering the doors the end, and was the Fantastic 4 snuck into Homecoming? Enjoy!
