Many veterans have a tough time fitting in with society after serving in a war zone. Some even become homeless. But a national program tries to gather them and offer some of the basic services they may be missing, and eventually, help them rejoin society. Mary McKenna reports on Stand Down. Today is Day 1 of the 11th annual OOIDA Truckers for Troops Telethon. We’re raising money to send care packages to our troops in combat zones overseas and to help veterans who have returned home.
