With extensive use of the USGS National Map browser, RC ventures west into central Michigan\u2019s Saginaw Lobe and Grand Valley flood channel, then further west to the many features related to the formation and catastrophic outflow of glacial Lake Wisconsin. We consider the accumulation of ice and glacier flow/spread, the differences between living and dead ice, flood and megaflood events of scaling magnitude, and the amazing opportunity that we have to study \u2013 with our modern tools of observation \u2013 a multi-million-year event that transpired very recently in Earth\u2019s geological history.
