Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our new weekly theme: "Waymaker". We discussed how God's way is always loving and personal to us. We shared and heard stories from the team and listeners about a time when you really felt known by God. Our scripture reference was Isaiah 43:1-4. God wants his people to know He wants to be connected with them. Moody Publishers released a new book today by author and speaker, Trillia Newbell. Trillia is also the Director of Community Outreach for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commision for the Southern Baptist Convention. Her new book is called "Creative God, Colorful Us", and it emphasizes how God made us all unique for His purpose. This week is also Founder's Week at the Moody Bible Institute. The theme is "Waymaker," and MBI President, Dr. Mark Jobe shared some of the highlights of events beginning tonight. This is February, and we started our read-thru Acts for the month: a book a day.
