Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme: "Crucial Conversations".  We discussed self-examination.  Before we have a crucial conversation with someone else, we need to look at our own life first.  The scripture reference was Matthew 7:1-7.  Our special guest was Charles Causey, a Bronze Star recipient for his military service in Iraq, chaplain, and author.  He discussed insight and examples from his book, "Candor: The Secret to Succeeding at Tough Conversations".  Dr. Jim Coakley, MBI Bible Professor and Israel expert, also joined us.  Dr. Coakley is joining Karl on a special trip with 180 Chicago Church to Israel in January 2023 .  He shared about the details, and there's still room.  Finally, this is the last week of our "Summer of Ten" Bible memorization campaign.  This week's verse is Romans 8:1-2.  You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew showcast.
