Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme: "Crucial Conversations".  We discussed how to react in a crucial conversation; what should be our response to handling the truth.  Scripture references were the stories of the rich young ruler (Matthew 19) and the woman at the well (John 4).  One couldn't handle the truth, while the other embraced it.  This week's theme was a special project from our interns.  One of them, Ryan Hanson (MBI Communications student), joined us today to share his heart.  We also welcomed Dr. Gregg Ten Elshof, Professor of Philosophy at Biola University.  He talked about self-deception and his book, "I Told Me So: The Role of Self-Deception in Christian Living".  Finally, this is the last week of our "Summer of Ten" Bible memorization campaign.  This week's verse is Romans 8:1-2.  You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew showcast.
